Fishbowl! App
This is a very simple tool for a very funny game.

Fishbowl is a popular group game played in the real world, with real people. Fishbowl App is a simple, elegant tool to make the game more enjoyable for you.

With the Fishbowl App, you wont worry about score keeping, time keeping, and dealing with pens and scraps of paper.

HOW TO USE THE APP

Theres a quick setup, where each person writes a word, any word, in the box provided and then adds (+) it to the fishbowl. After enough words have been added, press "Play". A typical game has 25-35 words. Divide the players into two teams (angry fish or happy fish).

In each round, a player must get teammates to guess out loud as many clues as possible in 30 seconds. Each clue guessed correctly is worth one point. Team with the most points after three rounds wins.

To reveal a clue, tap and hold the circle button. If a teammate correctly guesses the clue, tap the hook to give yourself a point. Tap the circle again to reveal the next clue.

Clues cannot be skipped. An un-guessed clue goes back into the bowl when the time is up. The fishbowl (ipad/iphone) gets passed back and forth between the teams until all clues have been guessed. All of the clues get put back into the fish bowl at the end of each round.

In Round 1, a player tries to describe a clue without saying it, spelling it, or rhyming it. No gestures are allowed.

In Round 2, a player says only one word. Teammates need to guess the clue based on this hint and their recall of the clues from the previous round. Player cannot give any other clue. No gestures are allowed. He or she, however, can repeat the hint or intonate the hint differently.

In Round 3, a player uses only gestures ("charades") as teammates try to guess the clue. No words or sound are allowed.

There are several variants of this game. Visit fishbowl app.tumblr.com for some ideas.
